Over the last 20 years, the Grünhainichen based company ZABAG GmbH have been producing perimeter security products of the highest quality. To ensure continued levels of quality, ZABAG employ a team of highly experienced engineers and use the most advanced machinery available. Some of the perimeter security products available from ZABAG include; fences, turnstiles, rising bollards, road blocking devices, rising arm barriers and a range of impact rated gates.

All ZABAG products are designed to be incredibly heavy duty and low maintenance to ensure a continued high level of security protection. The company are happy to undertake bespoke perimeter security solutions including very high or wide gates, telescopic sliding gates and gates using  irregular shaped frames.

Motorized Sliding Gates

Motorized sliding gates are a reliable means of securing large clear openings. The range of ZABAG sliding gates includes different types: cantilevered sliding gates KOMBI (also telescopic, KOMBI TZ) with a clear opening of up to 22 m and tracked sliding gates (TERRA, also telescopic, TERRA TZ) with a clear opening of up to 25 m. Upon request, heights of up to 5 m are possible. ZABAG sliding gates may be manufactured of steel or aluminium. They might be equipped with numerous types of infills and accessories, such as protection against climbing over or card readers. The complete corrosion protection system 3Plus made by ZABAG ensures that the gate is protected against any damaging influences such as ultraviolet light and chemicals and the customer may choose any RAL-color for the finishing color coat.

Of course ZABAG is able to build taxi way gates with clear openings of up to 80 m and special constructions, for example crash-resistant tracked sliding gates.

Airport Turnstile

At airports, where huge numbers of employees respectively passengers have to be granted access while keeping a high level of safety, ZABAG turnstiles offer the perfect solution. ZABAG turnstiles are operated by a special safety drive system and meet the current standards with regards to health and safety. For every special requirement, the ZABAG turnstile range ZENTRA has a solution in store. For the single or double turnstile system, various options are available such as different rotors, roofs, walkway lightings, intercom/video communication etc. Of course, all steel parts are protected against any damaging influences such as ultraviolet light and chemicals and the customer may choose any RAL-color for the finishing color coat – this all is included in the complete corrosion protection system 3Plus.

Bi-Fold Speed Gates

The characteristics of ZABAG bi-fold speed gates type MAPO QFG (“Quickfold gate”) may be summed up as follows: safe, fast and space-saving! Whenever the backrun is restricted, these gates are the answer. At airports, ZABAG bi-fold gates protect entrances, terminals and any other sensible area against unwished access of vehicles and persons. Clear openings of up to 14 m and heights of up to 5 m can be protected and this with an opening and closing speed of 1 m per second. Besides solutions with overhead or ground guide tracks, an innovative trackless type is available. The complete ZABAG anti-corrosion system 3Plus protects the gate against any negative impacts (weather, chemicals…) and the gate may be finished individually in any RAL-color. If wished, the bi-fold gate is equipped with various accessories such as card readers or intercom/video communication.

Airport Barriers

Barriers made by ZABAG, type TSZ, are an effective way of creating security – effective not only with regards to the level of safety aimed for, but also to the financial input. At airports, barriers made by ZABAG, manually or electrically operated, protect against unauthorized entrance and control the flow of vehicles reliably. There are three types available, depending on the width of the entrance area to be controlled, with boom lengths of up to 9.13 m. Optional safety equipment such as full skirt above and/or below the barrier boom, warning lights and additional safety buffers are of course available. Barriers type TSZ come, like any other ZABAG products, with the complete corrosion protection system 3Plus. This system protects the barrier against damaging impacts like scratches and oil, but it also allows the customer to choose a individual RAL-color for the finishing coat.
