Aircraft Hangars

Veldeman's aluminium framed Tension Fabric Structure (TFS) is suitable for temporary hangars, enabling on the spot aircraft maintenance facilities. Alternatively, the solution can be fashioned into a permanent hangar structure from a simple sunshade to a fully operational hangar with automated doors, insulation, lighting and HVAC.

The unique shape of the TFS' roof enables the structures to withstand the world's harshest conditions. A super heavy truss structure is not required to support excess snow, as the design sheds snow loads effortlessly.

Transportation of the structure is extremely efficient. When compared to equivalent steel hangar designs, the TFS requires six times less space. Veldeman can work with customer specifications or local regulations to ensure that your hangar meets exact requirements. A steel hangar solution or SFS (steel fabric structure) can also be provided.
