Scarecrow Bio Acoustic Systems are based in Uckfield, East Sussex, UK and have been trading since 1997 although the CEO of the company had developed the technology they use today beforehand. The company's core products include, Ultima, Premier, Compact, One-Shot, Marina, Patrol 2 & Goose Patrol. All of these are bird dispersal products employing bio-acoustic technology, completely harmless to birds and very effective in clearing nuisance flocks. Over the years Scarecrow have dealt with 28 countries worldwide – mainly through airside sales. Our latest Ultima tracked system with a full reporting facilities is already being used in 15 countries. Its predecessor, Premier over 650 systems worldwide – most are still in operation and we also sell an updated version of the original product today. A hand-held unit – Patrol 2 is used at smaller airports or to reinforce the work done by Ultima Premier.

Airport Bird Management

Scarecrow Bio-Acoustic Systems Ltd offer a range of effective airport bird management systems that are being used in hundreds of airports worldwide.  Our most advanced system – Ultima – is a state-of-the-art pc based system employing GPS technology.  This system not only clears nuisance birds from potentially critical environments, it all provides complete data recording and analysis – vital in today’s litigious world.  Additionally, an airport runway inspection module has recently been introduced.

Audible Bird Scarer

Scarecrow Bio-Acoustic Systems Ltd offer a wide range of audible bird scarer systems capable of clearing an area of nuisance birds.  We use bio-acoustic technology to digitally store species specific distress calls.  These are then played out at a natural volume.  The result of this is that birds sense that danger may be present and disperse.  Different species react in different ways and speeds but the result is the same.  On occasions where a mixed flock is present, one species fleeing may encourage another to do the same.

Birdstrike Avoidance

After the Hudson River incident in 2009, more people are aware of the potential that birds have to cause damage to aircraft – and worse.  Scarecrow Bio-Acoustic Systems Ltd has an enviable reputation for providing tailor-made solutions for the dispersal of birds at airports and runways.  Each Ultima system is individually programmed to the specific problem species and requirements of an airport.  A full reporting and analysis tool is included in the package.  This is vital for due diligence evidence.  More basic birdstrike avoidance systems are available for smaller airports.
