Cold Neon Discharge Obstruction Lighting
OBSTA has first developed original beaconing technique based on cold neon discharge light complying with regulations in force. OBSTA has its own glass making and manufactures the cold-cathode discharge tube, key element to ensure long lifetime of the light: all the manufacturing steps from the design of the glass turns, the electrode fitting and filling of the gas are done and controlled by OBSTA.
Cold neon discharge lights offers:
- Inherent generation of the aviation "red"
- Very low power consumption thank to new innovative and patented optic (see our new OBSTA STIF light)
- Very long proven lifetime more than 10 years whatever are ambient temperature and local climatic conditions.
- And compared to led type, luminous intensity and lifetime are not affected by high temperature.
LED Obstruction Lights
OBSTA offers also a new range of LED obstruction lights called NAVILITE and designed in a one-piece molded assembly. The molding solution offers excellent heat dissipation for optimum LED performance and perfect waterproofing compared to conventional led lights with fresnel cover. The NAVILITE can be used for cranes, wind masts or in replacement of incandescence fixtures.
