Falcon Aviation was set up in 1986 and is now based in Exeter, South West England. The Company sells both NEW and USED aircraft ground support equipment (GSE) along with spare parts, training, commissioning, maintenance programmes and consultancy.

We have sold in the UK, throughout Africa from the North to the South, the Middle East and the Indian Ocean islands. Customers are airports, airlines, ground handlers, FBO’s and MRO’s, as well as aircraft manufacturers.

Our own product is DEICERplane, a low cost aircraft de-icer for narrow body aircraft.

Aircraft DeIcing Solution

On the ramp, the Aircraft De-Icer is the sole item of GSE which is specifically concerned with aircraft safety. Therefore, its specification, operation and use must be correct at all times.

Falcon Aviation builds DEICERplane, a unique low cost aircraft deicing solution suitable for use on all narrow bodied aircraft mainly at regional airports. Generally, based on a Ford chassis with a 12.7m restricted turning access platform, the unit features 3 tank sizes, any of which can hold any type of de-icing fluid. Having the ability to hold its heat throughout the de-icing season, the unit is always ready to deliver fluid at 85°C after automatically detecting icing conditions.

Conveyor Belt Loader

Falcon Aviation, as authorised distributors introduced in 2007 Weihai Guangtai Airport Equipment’s JS70 Conveyor Belt Loader into international use at a number of Spanish airports.

A conventional loader design, with a 7.7m conveyor boom, positioned by two simple single stage hydraulic jacks. The belt loader can comfortably deliver loads totalling 900kgs to holds up to 3.5m sill height above the ground.

Offered with a choice of Cummins, Deutz and Isuzu diesel engines, the unit features simple electrical control systems with hydraulic components on one side of the unit and fuel and oil tanks on the other. A fully equipped cab is available as an option.

GSE Service

With the effects of the recession affecting purchasing of GSE, owner’s focus is very much on the maintenance of existing equipment.

Falcon Aviation has the capability to offer an on site service to cover defect, trouble shooting and repair servicing and modification on the complete range of GSE, likely to be found on the ramp in the UK and overseas.

We specialise in Ground Power Units, Cargo Loaders, Air Conditioning and Air Start Units as well as Aircraft De-Icers.

With this GSE service comes the supply of appropriate spare parts and consumables as required.
