Explosive Detection System Maintenance

To complement our ISO rating, ELS added the SAFETY Act (Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies) Certification.  The Homeland Security Act of 2002, that included the SAFETY Act, was passed by Congress to encourage the development and deployment of anti-terrorism technologies that protect the nation. 

We were the first specialized BHS maintenance company to achieve this certification from the Department of Homeland Security. This certification confirms our In-Line Explosive Detection System (EDS) maintenance expertise, allowing Baggage conveyors to operate at peak performance levels. This endorsement recognizes our ability and experience and also provides liability and risk mitigation.
