Aeronautical Message Handling

COMSOFT's Aeronautical Message Handling product line offers highly versatile communication gateways integrating CIDIN/AFTN as well as latest AMHS technology on one single platform, ideally complemented by aeronautical e-services.

AIDA-NG is COMSOFT’s Aeronautical Message Handling System (AMHS), based on the ECG (EATM Communication Gateway) software. COMSOFT and leading European Air Navigation Service Providers designed the AIDA-NG in close cooperation. Thus a system was developed that sets the benchmark for modern AMHS implementations in terms of reliability, performance, functionality, and comfort.

Apart from AIDA-NG’s capability to cope with all international aeronautical interoperability standards (AMHS, AFTN, CIDIN, SITA), one of AIDA-NG's strong points is its comfortable and efficient support of sophisticated operational procedures.

Aeronautical Information Management Systems

COMSOFT's Aeronautical Data Access System (CADAS) is a cutting-edge web-based ATM (Aeronautical Information Management) user terminal system that provides advanced, yet comfortable access facilities to all services related to aeronautical data.

The versatile system architecture allows to set up the system according to the very needs and technical conditions of the customer's environment.

High scalability and outstanding performance make CADAS the ideal system for both small airports and nationwide solutions.

ADS-B and Multilateration Surveillance

The Quadrant Surveillance System includes clearly defined building blocks to implement Wide Area Air Traffic Surveillance as well as Advanced-Surface Movement Guidance and Control.

With its ultra-compact design a single Quadrant sensor installed at the top of a mountain provides ADS-B service exceeding 200 nautical miles range.

As part of a cluster the Quadrant sensor delivers highly accurate information to enable a Quadrant Multilateration Controller to determine positions for all those aircrafts, not having an ADS-B capability.

Aviation Surveillance Communication

Surveillance Communication is COMSOFT's most prominent market segment in ATM. It covers products and projects to support the collection, distribution, filtering and conversion of radar data and other surveillance-related ATM information. The COMSOFT flagship product RMCDE (Radar Message Conversion and Distribution Equipment) is operational in more than 30 airports and air traffic control centers. It is also used for the build-up of multi-national surveillance networks, like the pan-European RADNET (Radar Data Distribution Network), allowing to access radar sites of whatever type, format or protocol from whatever location.

Surveillance Display and Surveillance Data Processing

COMSOFT provides scaleable, powerful and cost-effective surveillance display systems for tower, approach and en-route control. The systems can easily be integrated into nearly every ATC environment and adjusted to specific requirements and procedures.

COMSOFT develops and maintains powerful surveillance data processing systems, such as the EUROCONTROL ARTAS tracker. This is complemented by services like system integration, training and tracker fine tuning.

Aviation Surveillance Recording and Replay

With highly reliable, integrated digital recording and replay systems COMSOFT offers off-the-shelf solutions for a multitude of applications, including operational and technical analysis as well as search-and-rescue support.

R2D2® is COMSOFT’s answer to the need for recording and replay of any data, particularly surveillance and audio data. R2D2® is an innovative solution, based on commercial off-the-shelf components and the latest software developments. The modular architecture, high scalability and outstanding reliability make the R2D2® suitable for ATC facilities of all types and sizes.
