Aircraft Hangar Doors

Using a specialist fabric for the door, our access solution delivers an incredibly durable, but also efficient and space-saving product. Doors are lightweight with individual door panels effortlessly folding upwards onto each other, removing the need for additional door storage space in the structure. The lightweight fabric is particularly suitable of the aviation industry, as doors can be retrofitted into existing hangar structures, more effectively disperse high wind loads and enable comfortable indoor working temperatures.

Our main products are fold-up hangar doors and industrial/harbor large doors. The doors are manufactured in our premises in Finland, bigger door units are assembled at the site. The doors are manufactured using standardized parts according to customer’s needs. They are very reliable and there is little need for service. The doors are CE-marked and they comply with current standards. The doors are designed to withstand great wind loads and all local demands are taken into consideration when making the wind load calculations. Champion Door solutions with elevating support posts are ideal for extra wide and extra high doorways like aircraft hangars. Thanks to the Champion Door’s excellent product development the door size has no limits.

Industrial Special Doors

The door components are corrosion protected and the fabrics are mold protected and UV-radiation protected. There is a wide range of fabric colors. Thanks to the gear motor solution developed by Champion Door the motor needs only little space. The door can be installed to the opening, outside the opening or inside the opening. The door delivery includes always an electronic control unit.There is a wide range of additional control and safety devices available to the doors. All Champion Door models are also available with thermal insulation, which can make considerable energy savings.
