Since 1968 the Fladung company has been supplying the airports industry with products that are known around the world for their high quality and reliability.

Airport Road Blocking Security Systems

At the beginning of the 1980’s the company started to supply 400Hz power supply technology designed to provide aircraft with the necessary power while parked at the gate. In 1985 the company expanded its range and started to manufacture road blocking security systems. These systems are currently installed at many security sensitive locations such as nuclear power stations, airports, governmental buildings and military installations.

Mobile Airport Power Supply Systems

In 2004 Fladung entered into a strategic alliance with the Cavotec Group, a worldwide leader in mobile power supply systems. Through this alliance the range and scope of the products for the airports industry was further enlarged to include the Cavotec Caddy, a revolutionary mobile unit designed to bring the necessary services such as power, water and pre-conditioned air to the parked aircraft.

Cable Coilers, Aircraft Connectors and Towbars

This new unit created an excellent addition to the pop-up systems, cable coils, cable winders, aircraft connectors and towbars already offered by Fladung.

In 2005 the Fladung company was fully integrated into the Cavotec Group and it now operates under the new name of Cavotec Fladung GmbH.
