Air Service Training (Engineering) Ltd (AST) has a long and successful history of providing training to the world's airlines, aircraft maintenance organisations and military formations. Our training programmes are renowned for their consistency and relevance to the fast changing demands of the aviation industry.
AST is arguably the longest established approved training provider, having been approved under ARB, CAA, JAA and latterly EASA regulations. AST currently holds IR Part 147 approval, under approval reference UK.147.0002 to conduct training and examinations to meet the requirements of the IR Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence in all currently available A & B categories.
Airline Maintenance Training
Our training courses are ideal for airlines wishing to increase their certifying staff to meet increased demand, and sponsor students through licensing. Corporate discounts are available for groups of students for both approved and short modular courses. Bespoke courses can be compiled and delivered to meet specific organizational needs.
Helicopter Maintenance Training
We have offered training to many helicopter operators from around the world, and corporate discounts are available for sponsors of students/ training programmes.
Aircraft Technician Training
We offer a certification program covering all aspects of Aircraft Technician Training. Our technician training programmes are renowned in the aviation industry for their consistency and relevance.
Military Aviation Training
The approved Military Aviation Training courses have been delivered to many Military customers, and meet the need for aircraft maintenance training with the added value of the licence.

Additionally, we offer bespoke courses to meet individual company needs, and can provide complete training solutions right through from Training Needs analysis to post delivery evaluation. We already have the following off-the-shelf courses available:
