Airfield Lighting Control Systems

From a simple system controlling a single runway airstrip to the complex multi-runway operation of a major international airport, all of atg’s control systems are based around a basic philosophy that can be applied to any service, managed by any control system on any airfield anywhere in the world.

Offering individual lamp monitoring and switching and full SMGCS routing to international CAT IIIb systems whilst also offering uncomplicated relay based systems for single runway airstrips with a simple approach, atg airports have the capabilities to provide an airfield lighting control system to suit the needs of any airport in the world.

Airfield Ground Lighting

As the first company to launch a CAP168 and ICAO-compliant elevated LED runway guard light, atg airports now manufacture inset and elevated LED-based taxiway lighting. These lights are compliant up to CATIII and will be interchangeable with existing filament lamp units whilst offering considerable savings in maintenance and running costs.

The atg airports range of approach, runway and taxiway lighting utilises LED or tungsten halogen and is all designed and manufactured in full compliance with ICAO standards, FAA Advisory Circulars, BS3224 and UK CAA CAP168, and encompasses the complete requirements of airports from low-intensity systems through to CATIIIb.

Portable Airfield Lighting Systems

A range of Portable Airfield Lighting Systems is available for any length of runway. Units are trailer or skid-mounted and are ideal for emergency airfields, temporary airfields or for temporary lighting during construction work.

Airside Installation Services

atg airports offer initial survey and design support which can be utilised as part of a turnkey project or used a solitary service.

This can be followed by the installation of airside and airfield ground lighting equipment, utilising our in-house installation team, right through to final testing and commissioning. atg airports’ project services portfolio includes airfield lighting installation, navigational aids installation and commissioning, bulk fuel electrical systems, apron lighting, fixed ground power systems and docking guidance systems.

Constant Current Regulators

The Micro 100 CCR is a leading product in the atg portfolio and at the forefront of the airfield regulator industry. The easy to use front panel removes the need for a laptop during setup, by presenting all necessary performance data on the display screen.

The Micro 200 CCR shares many features of the Micro 100; has been designed to produce a sinusoidal output wave shape designed for use with LED fittings as well as all existing airfield lighting products.

Taxiway Guidance Signs

The Clearway range of taxiway guidance signs utilise LED technology and are available as Mandatory or Information signs, Illuminated Runway Distance Markers (IRDM), illuminated Stand Number Indicator Boards (SNIB), RHAG markers used primarily for military operations and non-illuminated retro-reflective signs. Clearway signs can be also illuminated with long-life fluorescent tubes, cold cathode tubes or tungsten halogen lamps.

Supplementary Products

atg airports also manufacture a range of obstruction lighting, helipad and naval lighting as well as cable, transformers and connector kits of all varying sizes in order to position ourselves as the option for all airfield lighting products and services.
