Aircraft Polyurethane Chocks

KALEWALA offer the KALEWALA AER160 aircraft polyurethane wheel chocks, which are designed to prevent an aircraft from rolling when they are not in use. These aircraft chocks are designed using the KALEWALA elastomeric polyurethane system from Aqua House Group Design Polyurethanes Division - EWP Gruppe. This system is ideal for applications requiring exceptional strength and durability.

Aircraft Wheel Chocks

Aircraft wheel chock polyurethane material demonstrates outstanding durability. Although KALEWALA material is neither rubber or plastic, it has the best quality characteristics of both as well as many more due to some chemical additives such as UV protection.

The raw material will be treated according to individual requirements, including your specific weather demands and the environment for the area of use. The tailored technology gives your long-term investment protection with an almost comparable price level to rubber solutions.

Aircraft Security / Reflective Rope

All materials are solid coloured offering increased airfield security as well as simplified cleaning of the aircraft. A further advantage of the KALEWALA service is the fact that we are an OEM business, which includes your own company link.

This shows competence in our field and secures aircraft chock theft between the ground service companies, heightening aircraft security levels. Our aircraft chocks include strong reflective rope for increased aircraft security.

Airfield Construction Material

Another key requirement of our airfield construction material is that is has the ability to retain its key physical properties at extreme climatic conditions, from -40 degrees to +160 degrees Fahrenheit. This is an important demand because most aircraft are kept outside, and the material must perform to its best whether they are use in the Arctic or a desert.

The service life of polyurethane KALEWALA chocks under normal use can be between seven to ten years.
