According to local news agencies, the aircraft landed "beyond the threshold" of the runway after landing.
Passengers exited the aircraft via emergency chutes.
166 passengers and six crew were on board.
Ryanair said three passengers and two crew have been taken to hospital for minor injuries.
The aircraft is now sitting on the runway, with significant damage to its undercarriage.
Latest images from the site show one of the aircraft's engines resting on the runway.
