Waterbridge is a supplier of Rapiscan and Metorex screening equipment that is ideal for the high demands of airport surveillance. Rapiscan's equipment comprises the 500 series x-ray screening machines, the X-Ray Van (a mobile baggage screening vehicle), gamma radiography detection systems as well as cargo screening systems, drug and explosives detection systems.

Metorex's Metor 250 product is a walk-through metal detector for heightened airport security. The system ensures excellent detection performance for screening airport passengers and identifying security threats.

X-ray Screening Machines - Rapiscan 500 EPX

Rapiscan's 500 series is a comprehensive range of ultra-high performance x-ray screening machines, particularly suited to airport security applications.

Advanced x-ray technology, coupled with state-of-the-art image processing, enables a higher level of image quality throughout the 500 series models. All models feature a 17in, SVGA (Super Video Graphics Adapter) flicker-free, high-resolution screen.

The Rapiscan 500 series is equipped with the following functions:

Rapiscan Crystal Clear™ - a selectable computer automated image optimisation function, giving max. simultaneous image information Rapiscan EPX (Enhanced Performance X-ray) - optional for almost all 500 series machines, the EPX assists operators in identifying substances with the specific characteristics of explosives, narcotics, gold or currency, enabling rapid and consistent detection capability (see below) Further options include conveyer extensions as well as input and output trays

Mobile Baggage Screening

This mobile van provides a self-contained mobile x-ray baggage screening facility for rapid response requirements at airports. The van utilises the latest computer technology to provide high performance, cost-effective, modular and upgradeable x-ray inspection systems. As with the 500 series machines, the van's x-ray technology, coupled with state-of-the-art image processing, provides a new level of image quality.

The EPX option is also available, providing operators with enhanced material identification information, enabling the detection of the presence or absence of explosives or other contraband. EPX distinguishes various organic materials from other organic materials.

The operator can analyse suspect areas of the image to determine if the atomic makeup of the material is specific with the makeup of specific contraband materials. This reduces the number of items in a parcel that may be considered potentially explosive.

Gamma Radiography Detection Systems

Rapiscan's GaRDS (Gamma-Radiographic Detection System) is a highly advanced, self-contained mobile inspection system for screening trucks, cargo containers and passenger vehicles for contraband and explosives.

Features:

Inspection throughout of up to 30 trucks with containers per hour Complete imaging of cars and trucks with no corner cut-off of containers Designed for harsh weather conditions Modular design enables system to be mounted on a domestically available truck chassis

Cargo X-ray Screening System & Security Inspection Systems

Further products supplied by Waterbridge include:

The Rapiscan model 546 Cargo X-Ray Screening System - ideal for use at airports, this is well suited to the inspection of medium-sized cargo, freight pallets and large parcels Rapiscan's Mobile X-Ray (MXR-30) - this mobile inspection system offers non-intrusive inspection and verification of loaded vehicles and containers for smuggled goods, drugs, explosives, weapons and other contrabands Ancore's VEDS (Vehicle Explosive Drug Sensor) is a material-specific neutron-scanning device designed for detecting terrorist threats in vehicles and cargos; it is based on Thermal Neutron Analysis (TNA) technology, which automatically detects explosives and drugs independent of their shape.

Walk-through Metal Detector Multi-zone : Metor 25:

Metorex Security Products' Metor 250 metal detector uses a unique coil system that guarantees uniform first-rate detection performance throughout the frame opening. This multi-zone technology ensures a much lower false alarm rate than conventional detectors, resulting in a much greater throughput rate.

The detector provides the following benefits:

Multi-zone display - pinpoints the area(s) of alarm Automatic selectivity selection - selects the correct sensitivity for a specific weapon or test object, eliminating time consuming trial-and-error Self-diagnostics - continuous monitoring of the detector's internal circuitry, etc. Remote control unit - uses password protection for heightened security For more information, please contact us:
