Established in 1970 Veldeman has over 30 years of experience in providing quality accommodation solutions for a wide range of applications ranging from festival arenas and indoor sports halls to military shelters and aviation hangars.
We design and manufacture bespoke building structures to meet the requirements of our international client base. With offices in Europe and America we welcome the opportunity to quote on modular building projects from around the world.
Within the aviation industry there has been an increasing demand for Veldeman's aluminium and steel framed, fabric covered structures. We have helped our clients meet fluctuating demands on airport facilities and have knowledge in providing; aircraft hangars, airport cargo facilities, passenger terminals and check-in facilities.
Airport Storage Facilities
Every commercial airport requires space to house infrastructure components such as maintenance equipment, ground support vehicles and passenger luggage.
Veldeman's airport storage facilities provide airport management with peace of mind knowing that our flexible building solutions can cater for sudden increased demands for extra storage space. Our fabric structures have short delivery timescales and can be installed within a few days depending on a site inspection and building specifications.
Aircraft Hangars
To allow for maintenance of aircraft fleets we provide temporary and permanent aircraft hangars. These structures come with a range of accessories including lighting, aircraft hangar doors, ventilation and optional HVAC systems.
For temporary applications we have recently partnered with Support Air (UK) to offer a rapid response aircraft maintenance service, worldwide. With this new partnership our temporary aircraft hangars have proven successful in helping to keep the fleets of numerous airlines in operation.
Airport Cargo Buildings
At Veldeman we pride ourselves in being able to offer our clients turn-key solutions for their accommodation requirements. There is an increasing demand for air cargo storage space and we offer temporary or permanent structures for use as on-airport cargo buildings. Having this additional storage space allows for handling large volumes of air cargo or being able to differentiate between perishable and high value cargo.
Check-In Facilities
Airports tend to operate on a near 100% capacity level, so scheduling maintenance works and facility upgrades can make project management 
extremely complicated. Veldeman Structure Solutions can supply temporary airport check-in facilities to assist with these difficulties. Some of the main benefits of our products are the 30 - 40% lower costs in comparison to traditional buildings, long lifespan through durable materials and maintenance free operation.
Military Aircraft Shelters
Veldeman can provide air force commanders with military aircraft shelters for use in the field or for surplus hangar space at permanent bases. These rapid deployment shelters are easily transportable, low maintenance and have been proven to offer key personnel a workspace that is as good as (if not surpassing) traditional permanent facilities.
