TACO Communications manufactures VHF and UHF antennas for civil aviation at commercial airports. Located in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, TACO Antennas have been designed for the harshest of environments. For almost 75 years, TACO has designed and manufactured antennas for VHF and UHF frequencies. TACO has low profile rugged Omni antennas for airport communications named D5000 Series.
Our Omni directional D5000 Series Muldipol antennas mount directly to the top of a standard mast for better weather proofing. TACO Antennas are protected with a smooth fiberglass radome with a gel coat finish for durability and ruggedness. These vertically polarised Omni antennas are available as a single dipole or multiple dipole combination. Our multiple dipole arrays have multi-port or single port options.
TACO Antennas are deployed across the United States and Canada used by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and also by NAV Canada. Our most popular models are single VHF D5076, single UHF D5077 or a dual VHF/UHF D5073 antenna with two connectors.
TACO also manufactures low profile Coax Stub antennas. These are vertically polarised broadband antennas designed for the VHF and UHF communication bands.
