Glare and dazzle in the tower can be disastrous. This is why the Reflex-Rol Aviation Systems are designed specifically for the window shapes and angles of air traffic control towers with optimum daylight filter.

We manufacture three groups of solar glare control products: Reflex-Rol, First-Rol and Reflex-Rol VUNO

Reflex-Rol is a single non-sealed unit with an integrated solar reflector foil and operating system for drops of up to 3.500mm. Reflex-Rol can be supplied as a manual or motorised system and can be fitted with automated cleaning brushes.

First-Rol is a single, double-glazed and hermetically sealed unit with integrated reflector foil and operating system with either wall mounted or infrared remote control. First-Rol's control system can be integrated with the tower's central environmental control system.

Reflex-Rol VUNO is an automated solar glare control system in which the reflector foil travels from the bottom upwards. The system is activated by light sensors and can be fitted to any standard window and is designed to shade the lower part of area while allowing natural daylight in the upper part. VUNO is especially effective during winter months when there is an increased incidence of low sun angles.

Products in each group have an individual application profile and technical specification. Each can be trimmed and shaped to fit any square, rectangular, trapezoidal or triangular window shape for installation in any vertical, inclined or horizontal window position.
