Flight Information Display System Software

With its award winning PADS software, Net Display Systems offers FIDS (Flight Information Display System) software for displaying ANY type of information on ANY public display. Of course the product can handle all possible situations for displaying flight information, but also combinations with other information like multimedia advertisements, live TV or news feeds from the Internet are possible.

Airport Information DisplayThe PADS software of Net Display Systems is fully scalable. The software has proven itself to be an extremely robust solution for large airports, but the same software can also be a cost effective solution for small or medium size airports.

Flight Database Management System

Net Display Systems developed the PADS FIDS Manager to store and maintain flight information. This application is intended for small and medium size airports where a simple database is not satisfying and where a complete AODB (Airport Operational Database) is too complex and most of all too expensive.

During the development of the PADS FIDS Manager the main focus was on displaying flight information and the information required for this. This can be found back in features like timetable flights, operational flights and the possibility to work with code share flights.

In combination with the other PADS applications the PADS FIDS Manager provides a complete FIDS solution for airports. This package gives small size airports an affordable and professional flight database management system with the grandeur and feel of a large size airport concerning displaying flight information.

Flight Arrival and Departure Information

Flight Arrival and Departure InformationIn environments where information needs to be spread across a clustered group of displays NDS has developed a special application, called PADS Cluster Viewer. A good example of an environment where PADS Cluster Viewer forms the ideal solution is a cluster of overview screens flight arrival and departure information at an airport.

With unique features like automatic distribution of layouts, automatic distribution of real-time data (e.g. flight information) and using multiple layouts the PADS Cluster Viewer offers the perfect solution for using multiple displays.

Airport Staff Information

PADS Staff Viewer is the tailor-made airport staff information solution for personnel to browse interactively through multiple PADS presentations. At airports Staff Viewers are used by personnel of the airport, airlines or handlers to have quick access to a specific selection of flight information.

PADS Staff Viewer has several unique built-in functions like the possibility to offer different staff pages to different groups of users and a Designer application to easily compose your own staff pages.
