delair Air Traffic Systems Ltd was founded in 1997 by employees of the DLR (German Aerospace Research Center) at the research airport Braunschweig. With the use of their know-how from research and development delair aims at the development of innovative air traffic management systems.
delair and its partner Lochard have developed the world's first Advanced Collaborative Decision (A-CDM) integrated suite of tools, fully in line with Eurocontrol's CDM approach, specifically for optimising airport throughput and increasing airport capacity. The A-CDM platform bases on the products darts, sally and ANOMS.
The capacity increase is the result of using a smart technology that takes a holistic view of the entire airport operation and integrates the activities of ATC, airport operators, airlines and handling agents. At the same time the increase in capacity is balanced against the environmental impact on the surrounding community.
The benefits of A-CDM are delivered to all stakeholders at a fraction of the cost of traditional infrastructure expansion:
