The atg airports range of Airfield Ground Lighting is designed and manufactured in full compliance with ICAO standards, FAA Advisory Circulars, BS3224 and UK CAA CAP168, and encompasses the complete requirements of airports from low-intensity systems through to CATIIIb.
In recent years, atg airports have been at the forefront of airfield lighting control system development and has supplied many systems, both in the UK and overseas. atg airports is now recognised for producing market-leading in the supply of responsive, reliable, user-friendly systems.
As the first company to launch a CAP168 and ICAO-compliant elevated LED runway guard light, atg airports now manufacture inset and elevated LED-based runway and taxiway lights. These lights are compliant up to CATIII and will be interchangeable with existing filament lamp units whilst offering considerable savings in maintenance and running costs.
A range of Portable Airfield Lighting Systems is available for any length of runway. Units are trailer or skid-mounted and are ideal for emergency airfields, temporary airfields or for temporary lighting during construction work.
Atg airports stock all types of AGL airport cable, screened & unscreened from 600V to 5kV for all airfield applications both primary and secondary. Connector kits for various applications are also available providing waterproof connections between primary cable and an isolating transformer.
Atg work with leading transformer manufacturers to provide a full range of AGL series transformers, from 30/45 watts to 500 watts rated at 6.6A/6.6A. 6A, 8.33A, 12A and 20A transformers are available on request. All atg AGL series transformers are subject to stringent physical and electrical testing at all stages of manufacture.
Atg airports offer a wide range of Obstacle Lighting, floodlights, airport location beacons and markers for use within airports and for general obstacles such as chimneys, discharge towers, radio and television towers, bridges, high-rise buildings and offshore oil platforms. The range includes single and double low and medium intensity as well as neon fittings that comply with international industry standards (ICAO Annex 14 and UKCAP 168), and are approved by many national civil aviation authorities.
For helipads, both onshore and offshore, atg airports offers a range of helipad lighting to assist helicopter guidance even in the most hostile environmental conditions. Products include the glide path indicator, horizon lights, stop / go lights and deck lighting.
Atg airports' range of In-Pavement Lighting provides visual guidance for vehicles in areas of high volume traffic or hazardous access areas.
Atg airports offers a fully engineered system of helicopter landing and servicing aids for aircraft carriers, frigates, corvettes, OPVs, oil rigs and other naval and commercial vessels. These have been supplied to over 25 navies worldwide.
