For more than 50 years and in the third generation, Hummel provide its customers with the most sophisticated printed products for the airline and transportation industry. These include Boarding Cards in different versions, Baggage Tags, also with RFID, and ATB Tickets on one hand, all kind of barcoded products such as Courier Waybills, Barcode Labels and other encoded information on the other hand. Our customers appreciate our long-term experience in the market, and the individual solutions as e.g. backlining in multipart forms. Boarding Cards and Passes
For about 20 years, Hummel have been supplying Boarding Cards, Boarding Pass Wallets and Thermal Baggage Tags to renowned airlines and airports in the world. As these products constitute a good part of the corporate image of our customers, we have always attached great importance to the quality of the products. As the Boarding Passes offer a great opportunity for advertisement, print quality is as important as impeccable raw materials. We do for example only use thermal top-coated paper qualities. Only a top-coated thermal paper assures e.g. that the 2D barcode can be read perfectly, and no data is lost due to bad print-out or liquids causing a smeared barcode.
Kiosk rolls (CUSS) and RFID Baggage Tags
We always respond to the latest market developments and integrate product innovations into our range.As such, we can for example provide thermal Boarding Pass rolls for all current Kiosk (Self-Service) printers. Since we have a long-term experience in terms of RFID for shareholder meetings, we are perfectly familiar with the issue of RFID Baggage Tags, and recently invested in the latest equipment for the integration of chip inlays in Thermal Baggage Tags. As for all new technologies, communication between hardware manufacturers, system integrators and consumable providers is vital to serve the customer with a 100% functional solution, which is our philosophy. ATB-Tickets
ATB Tickets are not only used for air transportation, but the same format is applied for railway and ferry Tickets, and also some car rental agencies use this kind of Ticket to print their car rental agreements on. All these products constitute a value document. Therefore, we have developed certain security features to prevent forged, copied and manipulated Tickets. Our customers are offered a wide range of security features to choose from, as for example invisible or thermochromic inks, fluorescent fibres, watermarks, guilloches, holograms, only to name a few. To go with ATB Tickets, we supply Ticket Covers in different varieties, which provide also an excellent advertisement opportunity.
Encoded Information - Parcel Labels, Consignment Notes and Waybills
Logistical networks of large courier services link numerous locations all around the world. In order to have parcels arrive as soon as possible, all logistical processes must be perfectly harmonised. Our intelligent barcoded tools like parcel labels and waybills accompany the consignments and make sure they always take the right way. As an additional service, we handle the number range management for many of our customers, and offer an individual personalisation service, accessible via internet platform.
