ACTS Airline Quality System Management

Aveos is a full service MRO that provides a wide range of services to the airline industry. Services offered by ACTS include aircraft heavy maintenance, component & engine maintenance and maintenance services. The maintenance services group provides technical training, fleet management, quality system management, in addition supply chain management services.

Aveos was created in 1937 by Air Canada as their in-house maintenance provider. Recently, Aveos have been established as an independent company under the name Aveos Aero Technical Support and Services Inc. now operating as Aveos. Aveos' head quarters are located in Montréal Quebec Canada. Aveos has facilities located in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Vancouver.

Aircraft Maintenance Training

Aveos Training is a leading-edge provider of customized training products & services for the aviation maintenance industry looking for quality, cost effective and performance enhancing solutions.

Aveos offers an extensive range of aircraft maintenance training programs and services. We assure our customers superior training products and services. Aveos Training is a Transport Canada (TC) Approved Organization. We can provide TC approved maintenance training courses as well as many other aircraft maintenance training products. Aveos is an EASA approved MRO thereby we are able to offer category A and EASA or CASA practical training programs.

Aircraft Fleet Management

Leveraging our airline experience, the Aveos Fleet Management Team's role is to extend aircraft operating time and minimize ground time, thus offering the customer more revenue opportunities. To achieve this, our service offering includes the following:

1. Development & Optimization of Maintenance Program

  • Preparation and on-going update of Maintenance Program
  • Check Escalation
  • Development & issuance of Task Cards

2. Improving Operational Reliability

  • Reliability monitoring and reporting
  • Design of customized modifications, and inspections
  • Assessment, and issuance of Service Bulletins

3. Maintaining compliance to Air Regulations

  • Assessment, and issuance of Airworthiness Directives
  • Engine Trend Monitoring
  • Monitoring new Air Regulations

Airline Quality System Management

The Aveos Quality team implements and supports company quality programs to provide value added services and right the first time products. We are safety and customer focused with a broad range of experience including Airline, MRO and Line maintenance operations.

Quality Services

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and obtain required approvals.
  • Company Safety Management System implementation and administration.
  • Regulatory manual development and approval along with the development and administration of detailed process and procedure documentation.
  • Internal and External Audit services using ASQ trained and CASE level III qualified auditors.
  • Development and implementation of Cost of Quality programs.
  • Implementation of vendor approval and monitoring systems.
  • Implementation of maintenance escape non-conformance reporting, corrective action with root cause analysis and improvement program implementation.
  • Technical record and technical publication support programs.
  • Aircraft lease returns and import/export.
  • NDT support utilizing MP, LP, Ultrasonic, Radiography and Eddy Current techniques.
