AAC Eurovent is one of the UK's leading specialist activated carbon filter manufacturers with experience of air purification / VOC removal at major international airports both in the UK & around the World.
Carbon filters and other dry chemical scrubbing medias are widely used for the adsorption of kerosene fumes often found around terminal buildings which if undetected can be both very odorous and potentially unpleasant to both airport ground staff and passengers alike.
We produce a range of bespoke products including:
• ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS - 'PR'™ RANGE
• AAC COLOURCELL®- MEDIA CONDITION INDICATION CELL
• AAC SWIFTPACK®- DUCT MOUNTED CARBON FILTER HOUSINGS
• AAC SWIFTKIT®- CARBON FILTERS FOR AIR HANDLING UNITS
• AAC TESTING SERVICES & SERVICING CAPABILITY
AAC EUROVENT manufacture a wide range of activated carbon filters and housings into which the 'PR'™ - (plastic refillable) range of filters are installed. The 'PR'™ range has three bed depths of filter cell nominally 25mm, 50mm and 75mm selected according to the operating conditions experienced.
The filters are all refillable, manufactured in either GPPS or PC as required, enabling only spent carbon media to be disposed of as opposed to the complete filter cells, making them more environmentally friendly as well as economical to service.
The AAC Swiftpack® duct mounted carbon filter housings enable through their modular design to accommodate most volume flowrates and duct sizes is to facilitate a carbon filter installation. The housings are available in either Galvanised Mild Steel or 316 Stainless Steel for more corrosive applications (eg. marine/coastal locations). The AAC Swiftpack® housings have the following features;
The AAC Swiftkit® is a specially designed kit of parts to enable carbon filters to be installed into Air Handling Units both new and those existing on sites to be retrofitted.
All air handling unit parts can be easily manually carried as they are within acceptable manual handling weights, even through cramped plant room areas.
AAC Eurovent Ltd offers clients a comprehensive media testing and service capability. Carbon filter Media samples can be taken for any of the 'PR'™ Range carbon filter cells and through CTC testing the full media condition can be determined, as to whether to replace or when to replace. The actual servicing of the carbon filter (in the UK) is also offered by AAC either through servicing on site/off site or using exchange filter cells.AAC Eurovent also assists consulting engineers in selecting and designing appropriate carbon filter systems especially for Airport applications.
The AAC Colourcell® is a unique patented filter cell to which indicates through colour change the condition of the media installed. The filter cell is installed generally as a single cell in a bank of filter cells always positioned where it can be easily accessed on opening of the housing access door.
The AAC Colourcell® comes in three nominal depths 25mm, 50mm and 75mm.
