Versalift will be unveiling new platforms and other innovations this year at SED’s new venue at Rockingham Performance Park, Corby.
Versalift will be unveiling a new entry level platform, the VRA35 with up to 12.5m working height and reverse articulation.
Being shown on an Iveco Daily, the new platform adds a NEW budget machine option to Versalift's leading range offering Versalift's dependable engineering and service back-up at a competitive entry level price.
The reverse articulation offers optimum outreach for typical street lighting and highways work with the advantage of a lower travel height than competing models.
Versalift will also be demonstrating its new option of a twin proportional joystick on an ET38NF platform, featuring a new control system for enhanced manoeuvrability. It also introduces a new control system allowing features to be programmed via computer rather than traditional interlock mechanisms.
Also hot off the production line will be the new ET32NFXS, with 10.2m, working height, offering a full 90 degree action fly boom and one-person walk-in bucket on a small 4 x 4 (shown at SED on a Ford Ranger 4 x 4).
There will also be chance to see and use the operational advantages of Versalift's SLP (Street Lighting Pack) which will be fitted on selected units at the show.
The Versalift SLP allows the user to elevate the platform without deploying the van's jacks to operate within a restricted arc over the rear of the vehicle, subject to base vehicle.
The SLP offers significant productivity benefits, especially for street lighting where positioning for work can often be achieved using limited outreach.
The operator can position the bucket straight under the lamp head without having to deploy the jacks, saving valuable time on each lighting column.
