Intelcan Technosystems Inc, Ottawa, Canada, signed a three year maintenance contract to provide logistic support for navigation and surveillance equipment in Fetesti, Romania. Intelcan will also supply services and components to support the systems on an as-needed basis.
Intelcan CEO, Max Rutherford, stated "this contract continues our close relationship with Romtehnica and includes the support of integrated radar and navigation equipment for three air bases."
Intelcan signed contracts with Romtehnica in Romania for the upgrade of the Fetesti Airport in 1999, followed by the upgrade of Campia Turzii and Boboc in 2004. This new maintenance contract will extend the Intelcan support within Romania for over two
years.
The maintenance contract will provide services and goods for corrective maintenance, flight check attendance, training, component repair and provision of spare parts. Intelcan will provide the required spare parts and maintenance services as required.
Intelcan has been a provider of airport infrastructure and services in Romania for the last eight years.
