Simulator Dome Structure

The structure comprises 8 Segmented panels to create a full sphere. The dome is formed by bolting the panels together using stainless steel fixings. The dome is secured to the supporting structure via an integral return flange at its truncated base which incorporates the necessary bolt holes.

The dome internal surface has been engineered to achieve an evensurface, with panels joined together via external return flanges. The panel Joints are filled to create asmooth finish, with the entire dome interior spray painted to achieve a high gain projection surface.
