Scarecrow Bio-acoustic Systems, the leading innovator in bird dispersal technology, has expanded its management team by appointing David Windebank as Head of Airside Applications.
David will be an important part of the Team, responsible for the future growth of the company’s global airside business, managing the strategic operational activities within the focused environment established by the company.
David, who joins following nine years as Regional Manager, Serco Bird Control, relishes the new opportunity:
“Scarecrow has been at the forefront of airside bird dispersal for over two decades now, and in my previous management function I was a user of their products.
My aim is to make a real difference to the business with my many years of management experience at SERCO. The industry is now even more heavily regulated, requiring compliance at all levels, so Scarecrow Ultima is seen as an essential bird dispersal and airside management tool.
Scarecrow invests heavily in New Product Development, it has a Technical Department at the forefront of bird science, and an engineering and advisory team which goes from strength to strength as the company drives forward with worldwide installations. I am delighted to be joining at such a positive time and my aim is to be an influential member of the team.”
Scarecrow’s Group Commercial Manager, Tom Diamond, says:
“We are all excited about David’s arrival. I feel his experience and accumulated knowledge will prove of value to our Company’s growth.”
Scarecrow has worked alongside some of the world’s busiest airports in over 30 Countries.
