pks services Field Service Department specialise in emergency Same Day On-Site Printer Maintenance and Support
In the fast paced business environment of today, pks bring expertise, experience and efficiency to the market. We provide same-day services, 4 & 8hr response contracts, Ad-Hoc repairs, proactive preventative maintenance, provision of loan equipment and even on site spares, thereby providing a true value added service.
Printer Loan Service
We understand the importance of having printers and kiosks in good working order so as to minimise downtime, inconvenience and possible financial penalties. Depending on the contract selected we will even maintain an‘On-Site Spares Kit’. The kit wouldinclude a fully tested replacementprinter and spare parts. In addition to this, all our field engineers are equipped with essential spares and field replaceable units, to maximise a first time fix rate.
Should the unit require returning to our workshop for repair, customers may also be entitled to a loan printer for the duration of the repair.
One call to pks customer services and we can arrange for one of our highly experienced engineers to be despatched to site to diagnose and repair any printer related problem.
Printer Maintenance Engineers
Upon receiving a call from the customer, we diagnose the problem and log the call on our system. A copy of the diagnosis report is emailed to our Cover Engineer who is responsible for the respective area. The engineer is thereby prepared with a tentative solution and arrives on site with the hardware required to fix the problem.
All of our engineers are equipped with maintenance kits, spare parts and the appropriate tools for resolving the problem efficiently with the minimum disruption to the business day.
Each call is tracked on our system and details of call closure and resolution are uploaded so that we have a detailed history on all repairs carried out.
pks warranty our On Site repairs for 6 months, therefore should the original fault reoccur we would re-attend site at no extra cost.
Preventative Maintenance Services:
pks also offers a free on-site Printer Health Check of all your printers. On an agreed date we will despatch an Engineer who will inspect all of the printers on site. We will then email you a report with an indication of the current status of the printers on site and also what parts may be required in the near future.
We can then provide a quote to you fora maintenance contract or a cost forad-hoc repair. The audit enables the customer to plan for future expenditure, and for pks to have correct and precise information about the equipment on-site to ensure parts are always available and any possible replacement units are sourced
Proactive Maintenance:
Customers who wish to take out a maintenance contract with pks will benefit fromquarterly site visits by a qualified engineer who will inspect all the printers on site and service them so as to proactively maintain them thereby avoiding future downtime. Audit updates are also performedduring such site visits so as to ensure that we always have correct and up todate information.
