SubscribeBeginning this year BAN 2000 has extended its scope of services to its clientele by acquisition of company FSB GmbH of Germany in adding especially air traffic services related expertise to its palette of services.
Company FSB GmbH was already founded in 1978 with the aim of supporting the fulfilment of operational and technical requirements in the provision of air traffic services and the operation of ATS units. In the meantime it has performed some 30 major projects in serving over 50 clients in 18 countries. Also FSB´s office is in Berlin in the neighbourhood of BAN 2000.
The company serves ATS providers, airport operators, as well as regulatory bodies, such as national and international aviation organizations and authorities, like the CEC, ICAO, Eurocontrol, national CAA´s, financing institutions such as the EBRD and EIB and the industry.
Services provided concentrate on ATS related technical, organizational and operational matters including training programs and associated services.
Prominent services include:
1. ATS modernization and reorganization including tender specification and proposal evaluation
2. The set-up of ATS training programs
3. The elaboration of ATS regulations & procedures operations manuals
4. ATC incident and accident investigation
5.Civil / military ATC operations integration concepts and their realization
Like BAN 2000, FSB also cooperates with the International Advisory Group Air Navigation Services (ANSA) in Switzerland.
