Iris Scan in Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Airport has introducing eye scanning technology so that UK citizens and some foreign travellers can now use the system to bypass passport checks.

A photograph of the users eye needs to be pre-registerd before the use of the system. Immigration minister

The project is open to British Passport holders and foreigners who often travel to the Britan. The Iris pattern is recorded along with the passport holders information into a Database. This system should see people go through Heathrow Airport at a mroe efficeient rate.
