This event is classed as the world's leading specialised gathering that brings together the major players in ATM from around the world and attracts thousands of visitors every year. The BEST systems were very well received and rated a success by visitors from many countries and organisations.
Micro Nav Ltd have presented at every Maastricht show since the beginning some 16 years ago. In addition to their biggest ever stand, Micro Nav ran a complete second tower visual and radar simulator in a separate conference room where interested groups were able to explore the full range of facilities hands-on and in depth.
The BEST range of ATM simulators covers all levels and types of civil and military training. It also covers Fighter Controller training to UK MoD and NATO standards. The presentations included: 3 channels visuals with large screen LCD displays; controller, pseudo-pilot and supervisor workstations, audio communications and data preparation for airspaces, airports, flight plans and weather scenarios. Micro Nav showed the latest 2K x 2K LCD radar display running their advanced man machine interface emulations and the new 2.5K x 1.6K LCD panel running their combined tower situation and information displays.
