1 week to ATC Global 2008 Exhibition & Conference!

ATC Global

New Venue, Bigger Exhibition, More Educational & Networking Opportunities & a World Class Conference

ATC Global, previously ATC Maastricht, is the global meeting place for the air traffic management industry. This comprehensive event with close to 200 exhibitors, live product demonstrations, over 30 free seminars and workshops, a world class conference and prestigious industry awards gala has something to offer every ATM professional and ATC stakeholder. It has the full backing and support of range of influential industry organisations such as CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation) and EUROCONTROL and as such is able to reflect the requirements of all industry sectors at both a European and Global level.

New Venue, New name
After 17 successful years of continuous growth in Maastricht the event had outgrown its original home, so for 2008 the event moves to the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre in The Netherlands.

With a new name and a new venue we continue to work toward our goal of delivering the definitive event for the global ATM industry. The relocation to Amsterdam has improved accessibility and with the increased capacity that the Amsterdam RAI can offer we now have the space and facilities to continue to grow and develop the event.

Unparalleled Networking Opportunities
With over 4200 industry professionals from 80 countries the potential to expand business contacts and meet face to face with industry colleagues, customers and suppliers is immense. The social programme including the ATC Global Awards organised by Jane's information will take place in the Holland Restaurant from 17.30 on Tuesday 11th March and the following day at the same time and in the same place, a warm welcome awaits everyone at the Event Drinks Reception sponsored by ERA. For those looking for informal evening networking opportunities, our new "After Hours" program of appointed bars and restaurants will enable ATM professionals to meet, socialise and relax with like minded industry colleagues.

2 Day world class Conference - Performance-based Global ATM
The ATC Global Conference, taking place on 11 and 12 March, will bring together leading global decision-makers responsible for planning the implementation of this new generation of ATM architecture, and will enable you and your colleagues to better understand the impact of performance-based air navigation services on all aviation stakeholders. The thought-provoking agenda has been developed by the editorial board: CANSO, EUROCONTROL and CMPi, and as such is able to reflect the requirements of all industry sectors at both a European and global level.

This year, we introduce internationally renowned journalist and broadcaster Nik Gowing. From a position of neutrality, Nik, an experienced conference Chair, will shape debate between the ATM sector's most influential decision-makers, helping delegates to understand the big issues and implications of their role in creating new-generation ATM architecture.

A lively format inclusive of interactive panel discussion will highlight the challenges within the following areas:

  • Regulation - how will regulators facilitate performance-based global air navigation service provision
  • The aircraft operator - changing demands by airspace users
  • Technology - technology supporting performance-based ATM
  • Application - how can we optimise the use of airspace

For 2008 there will be new speakers and among the keynote contributors are:
