Due to global threat changes the Scimitar Mk 5 has been introduced with focus on meeting the challenges. The use of mobile phones as a means to remotely detonate a bomb has increased in the last year to be one of the most used methods of remote radio detonation of devices.
The MK 5 has the addition of a separate active Tri-Band 'Active' antenna which covers GSM 800-900 and also 1800 and 1900 MHz bands. This unit is magnetically mounted on the 'Jamming' vehicle as there is no feeder to the antenna and the total output is fed directly to the antennas, not lost in the feeders.
The all new Scimitar version is also more compact and efficient than it's predecessor.

Centurion
This unit has been designed for smaller vehicles and for that application where more than one Jammer may be needed to cover a larger area than would be covered by one single ore expensive unit.
The unit is priced so as to be a very affordable means of protection against the threat of RC IEDs in the VIPs protection environment.
It is also useful in the role of a small portable unit for EOD use, as the unit can be supplied with an optional rechargeable battery pack which will give up to 1 hours running time.

It is light in weight and is easily carried be it by robot or by personnel. The cable on the remote control supplied can be extended to give the ability to be at a SAFE distance from the suspect package before activating the jamming unit.
