The co-editors of IRCA (Bureau Veritas, the UK Civil Aviation Authority and the Italian Civil Aviation Authority) are pleased to announce the launch of its new site.
The result of an association of three partners, with the support of ICAO Air Transport Bureau is the establishment of a truly international register. This new website, the “ International Register of the Civil Aircraft ”(IRCA), is now available on line.
This unique worldwide database, accessible through a highly efficient software, covers all administrative and technical information (airframe) on over 415,000 aircraft registered in more than 50 countries including the United States.
In order to carry out searches on the whole database and select the information on the manufacturers, types and models, standard key-words have been defined in common by the three partners. Data collected from the register of each civil aviation authority are completed with the relevant technical information increasing, consequently, the searching criteria to 45.
Internet technology has been applied to develop this website. The user will enjoy the simple use and web-browser capabilities of this software that permits easy access to the data: requests, statistics by country and general information.
