FAUDI Aviation's New 'Train The Trainer' Programme Teaches Specialists In Stadtallendorf And All Over The World

FAUDI Aviation GmbH & Co. KG

To buy an innovative product is simple enough, but to use it properly often poses complex problems even for experts.

And especially in the case of new developments, it is frequently only the developers themselves who are familiar with the complete range of functions which the new equipment is capable of. Later users then battle their way through operating instructions or proceed on the basis of 'learning-by-doing' - a waste of time and money. With the 'Train the Trainer' programme, FAUDI Aviation ensures greater efficiency. Clients profit from knowledge transfer when the developers themselves explain their products to the users.

Aviation Fuel TrainingSince 2006 Stephan Bellmann, Area Sales Manager among the Stadtallendorf experts for Jet-Fuel Filtration, has been introducing his 'students' in minute detail to the secrets of pressure vessels, water sensors and filter elements. 'The course is aimed at all people who work with our equipment - from management through to technical personnel', says the trainer. So far, about seven international companies from the Aviation Fuel sector have taken advantage of our training programme - from service providers in the field of aircraft fuelling and airport fuel storage through to a major oil concern.

The special feature of the programme is that the training can take place worldwide - either at FAUDI Aviation headquarters in Stadtallendorf or directly at clients' sites. As a rule, 16 training lessons have to be completed over two days. In order to configure this short period as efficiently as possible, FAUDI Aviation puts a high premium on a balanced blend of theory and practice in the selection of instruction materials, which include clearly laid out presentations. Apart from computer presentations and special scripts ('Mastersheets'), a sample case containing 'illustrative items' - from filter paper to cross-sections of filter elements - is also used.

'The response to our training courses is very positive. Our course participants repeatedly report on how the course has substantially facilitated their everyday work', explains Stephan Bellmann.

Depending upon the particular training package booked, participants can also take training documentation and illustrative items to their own workplaces and use them there as basic material for special seminars - quite simply, knowledge and skills can best be optimised by establishing a close relationship between theory and practice.
