A sophisticated solution is the VFH-1 vertical filter housing. FAUDI Aviation's new development is particularly characterising of its high level of efficiency. The filter housing can be used for both stationary and mobile applications in the field of filtration of Jet Fuels (Jet A1, Kerosene), AVGAS and Diesel.
Vertical Aviation Fuel Filter Housing
Depending on the specific application, the vertical filter housing is supplied to the client as a diesel filter (VFM-1), microfilter (VMF-1) or Filter-/Water Separator (VFC-1).
The latter version - the vertical Filter/Water Separator model VFC-1 - recently passed the stringent approval tests of the American Petroleum Institute to the current guideline API/EI 1581, 5th. Edition, Category C, Type S and S-LW. FAUDI Aviation is the first Manufacturer to have an API/EI approved Coalescer/Separator element.
The combined Coalescer/Separator element type CS6-254-1 can flow 89 l/min. maximum acc. to Category C, Type S-LW & max. 71 l/min. to Type S. The Coalescer/Separator element type CS6-355-1 can flow 136 l/min. maximum (110 l/min. acc. to Category C, Type S)
Typical applications will be: General Aviation e. g. small airports/airfields, fuelling cabinets, mobile equipment (Refueller), tranportable units, Helicopter refuelling etc.
