SubscribeBournemouth International Airport (BIA) have chosen a BEST ATC simulator to support their training programmes.
They have just placed their order with Micro Nav in the UK. The BEST package has been specially designed for airport use and includes controller and pseudo-pilot workstations, audio communications, BEST software & licences, demonstration airspaces and exercises and user training.
The radar simulator will be used by BIA for refresher training, on-the-job training support and competency checks as well as design and evaluation tasks.
Bournemouth joins a growing list of UK airports that use BEST, including: London Heathrow, Jersey, Bristol, Liverpool, Warton and Inverness.
