SubscribeVelcon Filters, Inc. announces the successful completion of qualification tests to the "API/IP 1581 Specifications and Qualification Procedures for Aviation Jet Fuel Filter/Separators" as follows:
Vessel Model # HV3256, Category M, Type S, (New Equipment) at a 1250 GPM flow rate, using 9 x I-656MMTB Coalescers and 3 x SO-648V5 Separators. This qualification will also allow Velcon to supply coalescers and
separators for existing military vessels that were previously qualified to API 1581 3rd Edition Class B.
This is Velcon's 14th successful completion of the 5th Edition qualification requirements.
