AIGIS’s IU 2000 is specifically designed for larger baggages destined for the Hold of planes and thereby addressing a potentially larger explosive charge. AIGIS has its own innovative approach to blast protection, using a unique patented materials system called TABREshield, which works by absorbing the energy from an explosive blast and minimising the lethal effects of overpressure by up to 90%.
