For Tower (TWR) and Approach (APP) applications, ATRAK gives information on: departure and arrival rules, terminal area information, barometric pressure for airports, weather conditions, sunrise and sunset times, static information, local traffic and movement areas, SNOWTAMs (Snow Warning To Airmen), NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen), special directives, VIP flight information, restricted air space, runway co-ordination and use, airport lighting status and APP emergency information.
For Area Control Centre (ACC) applications, the system provides weather reports, static information, SNOWTAMs and NOTAMs, times of sunrise and sunset and FIR (Flight Information Region) details and emergency procedures. It includes a search engine to view IATA (International Air Transport Association) and ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) information. The display screen provides details of military sites, senior controller and watch supervisor information, the status of military co-ordinated flights, and prohibited and restricted areas.
