Modular Rugged Display Station
The Modular Rugged Display Station (MRDS) is Barco’s latest Display Station family, combining a state of the art Display Processing Module (DPM) with a full range of Rugged Display Modules (RDM) already developed and proven in military applications worldwide.
The station’s DPM is based on a unique modular architecture, offering full configurability to meet customer requirements. It can include network, peripheral and sensor interfaces, extended storage media and uninterruptible power supply capabilities.
Bringing all of the benefits of modularity and integrated processing together, the MRDS offers a full range of LCD display stations, ranging from 17” to 24”, with resolutions from 1280x1024 to 1920x1200. Depending on the selection of the RDM, functions such as highbrightness, Night Vision Goggles (NVG) compatibility, Touch Screen option, low dimming and more are available.

Altium 4000
Rugged Computer
Barco's Altium 4000 multi-functional rugged computer bundles modularity, connectivity and performance into a MIL-tailored computing solution for battlefield digitization.
The unit's flexible design offers unprecedented customization options, with room for functionality expansion and technology upgrades (e.g. PC 104 or PCM/CIA cards). Altium's modular concept offers a wide range of I/O options for project-specific configuration. Altium further features Barco's TIME technology, which allows for easy upgrading of the processing module and keeps Altium up-to-date with future technological developments without the need of going through a new qualification cycle.

MicroVista
Deployable rugged workstation
MICROVISTA is Barco’s advanced deployable workstation for operation in mission-critical environments.
The multi-functional MICROVISTA workstation combines high-end computing power with rugged display technology into a functional, single person transportable operator station, offering processing power wherever you need it.
Depending on their application, users can opt for a rugged display, ranging from 17" to 20" and with resolutions up to 1600x1200, from Barco’s extensive range of field-proven display units. The integrated compact Display Processing Module (DPM) provides the workstation computing power through state-of-the-art Intel® Pentium® technology. Barco’s MICROVISTA is available in tabletop or bulkhead configuration.
High-end processing power
MICROVISTA incorporates Barco’s powerful Display Processing Module (DPM), which brings operators the high-end processing power they need to complete their mission. To offer maximum flexibility for integration, the DPM can be mounted under the desktop (tabletop) or behind the display module (bulkhead).
High-resolution display quality
During their missions, operators can rely on Barco’s state-of-the-art rugged display technology. Depending on specific platform requirements and space issues, MICROVISTA can be equipped with a compact 17” display or a larger, high-resolution 19” or 20” screen.
User-friendly human machine interface
To provide maximum user-comfort, MICROVISTA can be equipped with a broad range of customizable input devices and peripherals. In its basic configuration, MICROVISTA features a sealed rugged backlit keyboard, a Hula point pointing device, a practical indicator panel and space for up to 6 functional pushbuttons. These can be supplemented by a three-button trackball, touch-screen device, etc.

The integration of Barco’s field-proven components ensures low lifecycle cost, flexible upgradability and optimum support throughout the entire workstation’s lifetime.
Rapid deployability
Thanks to its compact and lightweight design, MICROVISTA is rapidly deployable and easily transportable. The optional rugged shock-mount frame allows for fast and easy mounting into various vehicle applications.
