Franke Care System Install 17 PCA Service Carts at Hamburg International Airport

Franke Care System (FCS) are pleased to announce the successful installation of 17 of their PCA Service Carts at Hamburg International Airport. The acquisition by Hamburg Airport of Franke Care System PCA service carts means that the airport will now operate a more efficient PCA service for its airline customers whilst also improving its own working practices.

The FCS PCA Service Cart allows for enough PCA hose to be stored for all aircraft types but only dispenses the right amount for the particular aircraft type on the stand at that time, meaning that life of the PCA hose is extended because it is not lying on the ground. This also creates a tidier and safer apron area.

FCS use insulated PCA hoses from J and B Aviation, resulting in a 30% reduction of PCA energy use (as reported by Hamburg Airport when testing prototype unit), meaning the initial investment can be more than paid for within the first year of use.
